What Data Ebb Stores

Ebb stores the following data locally on your device:

• Your symptom names and daily severity ratings (1–5)
• Daily notes you write
• Your reminder time preference
• Your first name (for the greeting on the home screen)

This data is stored on your iPhone using local storage. It is not uploaded to any server, cloud, or third-party service.

What Data We Collect

We do not collect any personal health data from you.

If you subscribe to Ebb Premium, your purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier and your subscription status from Apple — it does not receive your symptom data, name, or any health information. You can review RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Analytics

Ebb does not include any analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, or any similar services. We do not track how you use the app.

Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transfer your data to any third party for any reason. The only external service Ebb communicates with is RevenueCat, solely for subscription management.

Data Export

You can export your data at any time from the Settings screen. Free users can export a CSV file. Premium users can also generate a PDF report. These exports are created on your device and shared using the standard iOS share sheet — we never see the exported files.

Data Deletion

You can delete all your data by deleting the Ebb app from your device. Since all data is stored locally, deleting the app permanently removes all your symptom logs, notes, and preferences.

Children's Privacy

Ebb is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we'll post the revised version on this page with a new effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
