For POTS & dysautonomia

A symptom tracker for days when standing up is the hard part

Most symptom trackers assume you have energy and focus to spare. With POTS, the days you most need to log — the pre-syncope mornings, the heart-pounding afternoons — are exactly the days a five-minute form is out of reach.

Ebb was built around that reality. You tap your symptoms, rate each one 1 to 5, add a note if you want, and you're done. Thirty seconds, even mid-flare.

Why track POTS symptoms at all?

Two reasons, and both are practical, not aspirational:

What makes tracking sustainable with chronic illness

The tracker you'll still be using in six months is the one that costs the least energy. Ebb keeps the cost low on purpose:

Free tier: track up to 5 symptoms with full logging, history, and 7-day trends.

Premium: unlimited symptoms, full trend charts, and PDF/CSV export for appointments.

Also living with ME/CFS, fibromyalgia, lupus, or EDS?

The same design holds: low-energy logging for conditions that take your energy. Ebb doesn't care what your diagnosis is — it tracks whatever symptoms matter to you, at whatever pace you can manage.

A POTS resource worth knowing

Standing Up to POTS is a nonprofit funding POTS research and supporting patients with evidence-based resources, podcasts, and community groups. If you're newly diagnosed, their resource library is a good place to start.

Common questions

What POTS symptoms can I track?

Anything you name — commonly lightheadedness, palpitations, fatigue, brain fog, nausea, temperature intolerance, and how upright you managed to be that day.

Does Ebb connect to a wearable or read heart rate?

No. Ebb doesn't sync with Apple Health, a heart rate monitor, or any wearable. It's a manual self-rating log: you record what you noticed, 1 to 5. If you want objective heart rate data, keep using your device for that and use Ebb for how you actually felt.

Is Ebb free?

Yes. The free tier lets you track up to 5 symptoms with full daily logging, complete history, 7-day trends, a daily reminder, and CSV export. Premium ($4.99/month or $29.99/year) adds unlimited symptoms, full trend ranges, and doctor-ready PDF reports.

Can I bring this to a cardiologist or autonomic specialist?

Yes. Premium exports a PDF of the period you choose — 30 or 90 days, 6 months, or your full history — with a trend chart per symptom plus your daily ratings and notes (see a real sample). Free exports your full history as CSV.
